Special Issue on Moving Towards Clean Energy Society

Energy has become one of the most important issues facing the world, especially the challenges relating to “Clean Energy”. This special issue will play a major role in developing methods to bring the Clean Energy technology into society and for it to be accepted.
There is an active trend in many parts of the world for the appropriate inclusion of green or renewable energy sources in electricity markets, despite their higher costs.  This need to diversify energy sources is driven by a worldwide move towards environmental responsibility.  These developments demand a fresh look at how we meet energy demands and at appropriate solutions for decision-making by utilities.  It has led to distributed generation, where natural gas competes with and may complement solar, fuel cell, wind energy, and other systems. Hopefully, this special issue will help in realising the moving towards the clean energy society faster.
